Justin Bieber says 'legal conditions' are preventing him from playing live in Argentina

Justin Bieber has revealed that he will be unable to bring his 'Purpose World Tour' to Argentina because of "legal conditions".

The singer currently has no live dates booked in South America, but is presumably planning to take his show there once he has finished touring North America, Europe and Asia.

"Argentinian beliebers I would like nothing more than to bring the #purposetour there but until the legal conditions change there I can't," he wrote on Twitter this evening (May 16).

"Argentina I do love you. It is in fact one of my favorite places to tour. I wish this was not the case. My lawyers say it is what it is," Bieber also tweeted. "If things were to change I would love to come but at this time I cannot. For everyone else in South America I look forward to seeing you."

Last year (2015), a warrant was issued for Bieber's arrest in Argentina. The judge who issued the warrant said that the singer had failed to respond to a summons which related to an incident in 2013, when Bieber was accused of assault by a photographer.

In 2013, Bieber apologised on Twitter for apparently disgracing Argentina's national flag - an offence which can be punished with a prison sentence of up to four years.
